Biography:My name is Jack Casey. I am a first year Arts Student. This is my first year rowing with UCC and being involved with the committee. As my role of Safety Officer, I ensure the overall safety of the rowing club, to emphasise the importance of safety in the rowers’ training environment with the proper care and usage of boats and equipment on and off the water. I previously rowed for Shandon Boat Club, winning three Irish championship titles in the past few years and I have also represented Ireland in the Coupe de la Jeunesse and Junior World Championships. I hope to bring further success to UCC Rowing Club while studying here in the college.
